Routine Thinking - Making thinking visible
About the meeting
The purpose of the thinking routines is to provide students with complex and varied thinking processes. In this meeting we will experience the routine of a “circle of perspectives.” This is a learning activity that seeks to obtain profound understanding of the actions of different characters, to understand the complexity and the various considerations. To observe the same situation (story, decision, dispute, encounter) from different directions.
Observing from diverse points of view broadens the mind and compels the students to read the texts accurately, to sharpen their understanding and attention to detail, while at the same time referring to the personal place as well. In this workshop we will experience the use of these techniques in the Hebrew and Bible/Judaism class.
