About the meeting
A “big idea in teaching” is a central theme around which we build the Bible, Hebrew or Judaism classes, and it will directly influence our judgments regarding the materials we choose to discuss, questions we want to ask, and words we choose to translate or learn. In the workshop we will get to know the principle of a “big idea in teaching,” and we will experience building a lesson in light of a big idea.
Two sessions on this topic. In the session we will understand the meaning of the title and in the second session we will consider its practical application in Jewish education.
